My Keria yang COMEL
Comel lah sangat katanya...
Keria is my favourite local kueh. Main ingredient for this kueh is sweet potatoes. i love to use orange sweet potatoes coz of its bright colour!
Nak buat kueh ni simple but sometime tricky. you need to get the right measurement of flour so that your kueh will be in the right texture. The right texture means your kueh will be rich in sweet potatoes flovour and soft. Yummy!
As myself, sometimes i failed to get the right texture. Kadang terkeras kadang terlembut ...but practice makes perfect.
Recipes???
1 kg karibang orange
400 gm tepung gandum
Secubit garam
Rebus Karibang sehingga empuk.
Setelah dilecek (lecek ketika masih panas) masukkan secubit garam dan dibiarkan sejuk seketika.
Setelah itu, bentukkan seperti gegelang.
Kemudian goreng sehingga warna kekuningan.
Setelah siap, kueh tadi dimasak dalam air gula sehingga kering.
Mcm mana nak buat air gula?

3 sudu gula
2 sudu air
Masukkan gula dan air ke dalam kuali (senang nak gaul. kalu guna periuk susah sikit).
Setelah air gula mula mendidih dan memekat, masukkan kueh tadi, gaul sehingga air gula kering dah berbentuk kepingan (flakes).
Note : time ni gaul dengan penuh kasih sayang ye sbb takut kueh hancur. if ur kueh x hancur that means u kueh its ok BUT takut jugak tekstur nye keras sbb terlebih tepung hehehe....
